The Editorial Team

The Editorial Team

WolverhamptonInterchange’s newsroom brings together local reporters, editors, and fact-checkers led by a managing editor. We specialise in transport, infrastructure, and city life. When needed, we commission subject‑matter contributors; all content is edited for clarity and accuracy.

Editorial Line

We cover developments affecting mobility, regeneration, and public services in Wolverhampton and the wider region. Coverage is evidence-led, community-focused, and non-partisan. Opinion is clearly labelled and separate from news. Commercial content and sponsorship are transparently signposted.

Journalistic Values

Accuracy, fairness, proportionality, and independence guide our work. We verify information from multiple sources, offer a right of reply, and correct errors promptly with clear notes explaining what changed and why.

Ethics and Deontology

We uphold the principles of the UK Editors’ Code of Practice and applicable UK law (including defamation, privacy, and contempt of court). We avoid conflicts of interest, disclose sponsorship, protect minors and vulnerable sources, and respect equality and diversity. We safeguard data in line with data‑protection obligations. To request a correction or raise a concern, please contact the newsroom.
